The accessory is compatible with backpacks equipped with the No Dancing Monkey 1.0 and No Dancing Monkey 1.2 harnesses. The Loop Junk Strap is the same 120cm woven nylon strap with a stainless steel buckle that Surly's regular junk strap is. The Loop Style Junk Strap, however, has a loop sewn at each end of the strap so you can wrap them around small diameter tubing like that used for racks and handlebars. They secure in the middle with the stainless steel buckle. Surly made these Loop Style Junk Straps because it offers another method for those wanting to secure cargo to their racks and or bikes. Surly's Junk Straps are basically really long toe straps. They're 120cm woven nylon with a stainless steel buckle. Surly had them made to specification to ensure that they work well and last a long time. They're easy to use and they stay tight. Once you're ready, loosening them is quick and easy. Surly's Dummy Deck provides a light, durable platform for cargo bikes, built to Xtracycle's Longtail standard — including the Big Dummy, of course. The Dummy Deck is stamped from 4mm-thick aluminum, chosen for its strength, durability, and recyclability, and it bolts directly to Surly Dummy Rails to stiffen and stabilize the whole system (it's also compatible with Xtracycle V-racks by using Xtracycle's SuperHooks). It features cut-outs for routing straps and cordage, a mounting hole for a rear light bracket, accessory-mounting holes, and countersunk holes for SuperHook hardware.
